Born Oct. 1st 1992 in Dickson, TN. I started working with computers at a young age (6) thanks to my father who also works in the IT industry. I didn't know what I wanted to do with computers growing up, but I knew I wanted to work with them.
Growing up I mostly played games, messed with MSC Office, and tinkering here and there. I was really into C&C, and then WoW when it released. Soooo much time spent playing WoW that I wish I spent coding!
In my high school years (2008-2011) I thought I'd like repairing computers so I started building custom computers, and repairing hardware that came my way. I still use the case of the first computer I built for myself in 2008!
Out of high school (2011) I went to VolState (2 semesters for CIS), but dropped out to start working full time at NASG for my daughter that would be born Oct 2012. This is where I picked up press & robotics programming (2013-2016).
Once I finally got into the IT industry with a small team at a hospital in 2016 I started working on more and more computers. This is where I first picked up scripting. The facility had need for an intranet site for internal news posts, cafe menus, file access, etc... I knew I would like creating a website, so I started coding. In 2017 the intranet for this facility was born, and was my first "official" website that was used by more than just myself!
I am still working at this facility. There is not a lot of time to develop more applications along with all the 600+ computers, 125+ severs, 1200+ users, 100+ applications, and the back-to-back projects we have. Hence the need for my own site to work on when I am at home, and everyone is asleep! 😂
I will continue coding for many years to come. Even if I may be the only one who will ever see it, as I believe it is time well spent.
